Professor Julie Redfern, 2022 NSW Woman of Excellence, NHMRC Leadership Fellow and Professor of Public Health in the Faculty of Medicine & Health at the University of Sydney, presented in the second seminar of the Holsworth Research Initiative Seminar Series for 2022 on World Heart Day 2022.
Professor Redfern presented an overview of her heart disease research with a particular focus on Solve CHD, a 5-year NHMRC Synergy Grant with the aim of transforming post-discharge secondary CHD prevention and reducing the burden of heart disease by decreasing deaths, hospitalisations and costs.
